Breaking up the (value) chain - grab a seat at the PFS Conference

The Personal Finance Society (PFS) will be hosting their annual conference this week in Birmingham. This year’s theme is ‘Futureproof: Safeguarding your clients and your business’ and our very own CEO and Founder of Timelineapp Tech Limited, Abraham Okusanya will be attending the PFS conference.

On Thursday, November 28, Abraham will be delivering his presentation on Breaking up the (value) chain - at 10.45-11.20 in Hall 5.

Here’s an overview of what to expect:

The retail investment value chain consisting of asset managers, platforms, discretionary managers and advisers, is coming under increasing cost pressure. With an onslaught from technology, regulatory headwinds, and increasing scrutiny by investors, the media and policy makers, the value chain is being broken right in front of our very eyes. Each part of the value chain is having to justify its existence, but which bits will survive?

Join Abraham to discuss:

  • How tech is transforming the retail investment value chain
  • Opportunities for planning firms to take the driving seat
  • How to digitise planning and improvement client outcomes
Abraham is the Founder and CEO of Timelineapp. He has authored the Beyond the 4% rule book, written several industry papers and delivered many talks. He holds a master’s degree from Coventry University and an alphabet soup of designations, including the Investment Management Certificate, Chartered Financial Planner and Chartered Wealth Manager.
